I also have an US cube and PAL PSO

if i try to change the network settings the cube just hangs...

how did you manage that ?

The tutorial on 64scener (http://www.64scener.com/lanload.htm) states the following:

Please note that a PAL (EURO) PSO game cannot be used to enter network settings on an NTSC (US/JPN) console and vice versa, this is because the PSO game soft resets the gamecube before entering the network setup, resetting your Freeloader/Action Replay boot and causing a "wrong region" screen to appear. So, if you've got a PAL GameCube, make sure you get a PAL Phantasy Star Online game, and if you've got a US GameCube, make sure you get a US (NTSC) version of Phantasy Star Online.

So I also would like to know how you were able to get it functioning, so I can get started right away when I receive my version of PSO. Otherwise I might have ordered the game for nothing.

My setup is/will be:

JAP cube***
Broadband adapter
PAL PSO
Freeloader 1.06b


*** Modded with a switch so I can switch between USA and JAP setting.

I've got a JAP/USA GC and i had doubts about a PAL PSO so i've gone and ordered a USA version of PSO from dvdboxoffice.com just to be on the safe side

I also ordered from DVDboxoffice to be save, but that means I will have both a PAL and USA PSO, since the PAL version is on it's way.

And I'll probably will have two broadband adapters too, so I'll just try to find someone who's interested in a PAL PSO with broadband adapter.

Well first of al start your gamecube with the freeloader in it. if the freeloader has been loaded push your "z" button and then the europe flag(if the game is PAL). insert the game.
Hold down the "B" until the screen come's up with " Do you want to disp[lay phantasy star onlinein 60Hz?" says to that and now pso will play online and you can enter the netwerk settings.

Well the original starcube release of Zelda legend of the windwaker doesnt work on my pal gamecube tried boot method a and b no joy

Zelda-Starcube doesnt work at all
Zelda Ultimate cheats someone said doesnt work, it does with just psul

luigi works with mode B and -d10 -f11
puzzle collection works with the same

ntsc gc
