    Default Spam help?

    Please can someone help me i am getting to much spam now that i can let my kids use the pc, i am running outlook express 6. Is there a pluging or a good bit of software that can help?

    so just stop letting them use the mail. get them a seperate hotmail account or something for them and then go to you account settings and untick the box below he password entry space. this will now get it to ask for your pass when checking mail.

    kids dont see it. problem solved. if its only email spam i dont see much of a problem.. just close OE lol.

    You could set up seperate passworded profiles to seperate yours and the kids email.

    I use Popfile It's free and it's quality... I get 100+ spams a day and this filters the lot and so far has been 99.99% accurate... check it out.

    im actually surprised at how little spam i recieve and i dont know why, ive never needed a spam prog or i'd ive recommended one but i have no need atm.. even my hotmail account only gets about 5 spam a month and that just gets filtered directly into the trash.

    which is nice...

    Norton's Internet Security 2004 has some nice spam filtering .. so is GMX (a mail provider) which has very good spam filtering options implemented..

    give it a try
