You are gonna need a considerably faster upload speed than what you currently have if you wish to stream video that is worth watching (quality wise anyway).
Understeer is when you hit a wall with the front of your car
Oversteer is when you hit the wall with the back of your car
Horsepower is how fast your car hits the wall
Torque is how far your car sends the wall across the field once you've hit it

Even if you did upgrade to the 1Mbit service, that would still only give you 256kbps upload which still isn't quick enough for streaming video to run seamlessly (or at any sort of worthwhile resolution).

Been to BPM radio in Birmingham and all they use is 56k dial up for the live stuff. You can record your own set there for £20 and it will be put into the archives for 3 months.

Well they say 3 months but my mate Beech has been in the Trance section for over a year now...

Video quality's not great but it's not as if you got to watch a DJ is it?

Msg me the link when you get it up and kicking I'd definitly like a listen... Might even grab a web cam and broadcast one myself.

What sort of music you play?

The setup at BPM is only a P200 with Windows Media Encoder and a 56k modem running on it. You'll be able to get live broadcasts going no problems. The only thing that you'll need to pay for is storage if you want to keep an archives section permanently on the web.

I've been mixing Hard House/Dance/Trance for years now but I've recently started playing in a more Electronic/Breakbeat style so that I can chuck in a load of scratching and a bit of beat juggling.

Yeh Dance and Trance can be really fun to mix, not into any electro or anything, but scratching is good if you can keep the record in the right startin place again, what Decks have u got?

If you just want audio - you could use winamp and shoutcast to do this.

Not sure how many you would get tho given the small upstream of your connection.

    Vestax PDX-2000 and a Stanton SK-2F mixer.

They kick off like no-one's business coz the torque's so damn high, +50%/-50% Utlra Pitch, Reverse (pretty usless but hey, why not?) but the best bit is you could hit 'em with sledge hammers and they still won't skip.

The mixer's crossfader's so light you can blow it from one side to the other and it cuts fully in after about 2mm...

Been scratching for about 2 years now, not too bad at it but I've still got a long way to go compared with the pros...

I started playing hard house and trance coz it's fairly easy to get to grips with. But my main passion always laid with Chemical Bros, Prodigy, Fluke, Orbital etc. that's why I've moved more over to the breakbeat side of things. I can get away with more stuff coz it's a shitload easier to cut tunes together.

What decks you got and who's your favorite DJ?

Yeh thats cool, Mine aint to bad but im only a beginner :-p Im ok I guess, but soon be moving on to better decks, I have 2X Gemini Xl200's and Vestax VMX100 Mixer, which needs some oil on the corssfader to keep it moving sweet, mine dont jump really, jus bit basic now, scratching is ok them, but with the standard catridges its not worth going into big time scrathcing on them!
