Has anyone actually PLAYED this yet.

booted it, created a player and all that, tried to start a game but no matter what mode i try i just cant get the game to start no matter what i do/click/press.

so is it my copy or is anyone else havin the same probs

lets know please guys

I've only played in exhibition mode so far. Haven't tried system link or career yet. Works fine apart from one lockup.

Not a nuke as far as i know.

Only done the practice bit but hung after completed learn how to swing to late in the early hour of the morning and not a tennis fan so just turned the thing off. Watched the demo before going into the practice bit game looks good the practice swing section was the only bit i managed to do before crash was naf though but will try again later and see if i get time.

I have problems with this aswell freaky, only thing I can get to work is the tournament, then it locks up after the 1st game - cant even get a game to load on the championship.

I'm running on executer 1.1 if it helps.

Played the career mode for an hour or so and have had a few exhibition games and no probs at all.

i havent got any mode to work at all, soon as i press a or start to begin the game, nothing happens.

im running an X2 with very latest bios

tried it again last night

every single mode wont work, when u choose whatever options u want, it takes like 2min to load, then u have to select something else and it says loading again, but it just hangs on the loading screen.

latest bios
x2 chip
tried from dvd-r (yes i know it works in my box)
tried extracting to hard drive.

is there more than one release of this or just the one, this is doin me head in now.

oh those whove played it, whats it like, and how does it compare to virtua tennis 2.

Top Spin PAL Multi3 XBOX-DNL is wot im usin and i think its better than Virtua Tennis ..... but its damn hard tho

had same problem then changed epromm to ntsc.yes i know it is pal multi but game woks fine now.(weird)but it works for me.

u know thats one of the most obvious things aswell and i forgot to do it, jesus it used to be one of the first things I suggested to other people if they couldnt get a game workin.

i have tried changing to ntsc put mine still locks up when i go into shop i get a prompt to reboot xbox. everything seems ok until i enter shop

mines fine, all modes spot on, played it with mates for hours with no lock ups.
runs on pal and ntsc.

and this game really is the mutz nutz...far better than any other tennis game imho.

I found pretty much all the lock ups are caused by evox.

I have 4 xboxes all identical 2 of them use xbmp as the dash never had a single lock up on any title ever. The other 2 I haven't got around to moving off evox yet and they have lock ups constantly.

The 2 that are now on xbmp and used to be on evox did use to lock up though.

Oh and they all have executer 2.2 in them with latest bios. I know not everyone has probs with evox but I think its something like it not liking executer 2.2 or similar.

And yes they all have IGR switched off and time set.

I have played this quite a bit and its pretty good, doesnt quite match virtua tennis tho imo. It still fun and I will probably try it on system link soon!

i had a shite of a job gettin this to boot untill someone suggested setting the clock, soon as i did that it booted in a flash, very cool game i love it, i also said it aint as good as virtua tennis 2 but its a very close second
