Is there a way to test to see if the talkback is working on a box with an in line filter?
Yes. Waite a few weeks if cable co or police contact you then you know it ain't worked, going by the feedback on this forum, only way to be sure is to cut talkback, but never feck with a subbed box from cable co

If you try to use an interactive service and it can't connect, then the filter is working
