Recomended games?

Hi all, ive never been into Pc games before, but recently i got a tft and a new graphics card, id also been feeling withdrawal symptoms because ive been without a console for a year for the first time in my life , so i started trying PC games today.

I tried the PES3 demo and enjoyed it, ive just been playing Halo(demo) on-line and although i got my arse kicked it looked pretty good, and i have Soldier of Fortune 2 downloading now.

What im after, is your recomendations, what are the great games around at the moment?

The 2nd demo is a PC gamer exlusive and isn't supposed to be released online. But if you look hard enough you could find it :censored

I like some of the older games like Civilization and Sim City etc. But games like CM4 and GTA VC are classic and will keep you happy for ages m8.

I am playing, Medal Of Honor - Breakthrough, Star Wars Jedi Knight - Jedi Acadamy and Freedom Fighters at the mo which I think are all top games.
