Conflict Desert Storm 2 patch?

I burnt this to disc and the full game doesn't work. You can go into menus and stuff but the actual game doesn't work. Sounds more like a bad download rather than a patch needed. I just downloaded another version, but rather than waste a disc (tight, I know

) I thought I'd check with you all

bad download? no... if it would be a bad download then the game would work at all since you wouldn't have been able to decompress the image..

did you try to run the game from your XBOX HDD?

No, I'm trying to keep everything on disc now.

Has anyone else had problems with a burnt CDS2?

just scan it with ISOCraxtion to see if it needs patching

The NTSC version of the game doesn't run for me either, i got a bad disc error. A lot of ppl had the same problem, my solution was to download the PAL release which works fine

you can get it to work if you change the names of the movies to pal.

sounds like you have the same release i had.

just change the name of all the moveis from xxxnts.xx to xxxpal.xx and it works fine.

What tool do you use?, i have an iso img.
or is this something that has to be done from the hardrive.

you need to extract the image with xiso on the pc, change the files then ftp across to the hd.

or you can probably make it back into an iso again once you've changed the files.
