Hi guys I am very new to all this stuff but it looks great
I am trying to build a computer just to use with the tv I have got a skystar 2 card prog dvb yankse and the key that was on here, I can get all the advert channels like qvc no problem but can't get the good ones I know I must be doing something wrong but don't know what it is would be greatfull for any help I cant even find a readme I can understand

Probably best to readup the DVB-C section on the shack m8t.

depends where your dish is pointing. i dont think you can get any $ky stuff so it may be pointless pointing the dish at 28 e.

thanks guys but could you please tell me where I can find the shack ? remember new to all this stuff, but it is very interesting.
At one time I had sky digital I now have cable but still have the dish and I think it is pointing at astra all I did was to wire it up to the skystar 2 card and mess about with the programs prog dvb tells me I have a signal of something like 47percent on the channels I am not getting I think I have just not configerd yankse properly but I know I am close just not there yet.If anyone can shed some light on this I would be very grateful

thanks oE the mod shack looks like just what I need I have registerd but it will not let me look at anything yet maybe it takes a while

got in thanks ray_b but not got much info just yet but I will keep at it

in prog dvb go to plugins then yanksee and make sure active is ticked.you wont get anything on 28.2(sky digital) so you may need to move your dish.
also the key files run out regulary download the latest each day

Thanks Arthurdailey so is that where my dish is pointing for sky can you tell me how to move it to somewhere I can get a signal. I have made yankse active but it still does not work Can you tell me where to get a new key.
Ps Sorry for being a pest but I have got to get this thing going cos its driving me mad :splease
