Can we set up a dvb-c section in this forum, as i am having alot of problems trying to set my dvb-c tehnotrend 2.1 card, i cannot get it to work full stop, no dvb signal.

can't get onto shack right now it must be down, is there anyway to check my signal strength? i have used the ini files on the shack to scan a freq range but it finds nothing which would have me believe that its the connection.Originally Posted by oE

hmm are you using the correct symbol rate ?
do you have any cable devices to prove the feed is any good like a stubbed box ?
have you setup ritz and yanksee correct ?
how have you split the cable to get it to your card ?
have you got the right drivers for the card installed ?

cable comes in living room, split to an analouge box, other to pc room, in pc room i have split my broadband connection to the dvb-c card, device manager shows my card is installed properly, i have a technotrend 2.1.
i lost mdwrap plugin and i doubt i have the yanksee prog installed properly.
what cable provider u with ?

ntl scotland, currently trying to scan arange of freq using the ini from modshack the one withe the 6887 symbol rate, does LNB remain checked in the box in ritzdvb and what about the LOF values.
