it depends on the software your using but they all seem to support wirlirc.

I'm getting annoyed now, is there anyway u could tell me how to setup the 10in1 remote supplied with my card as there is no config file for it?
please, i've gotten pretty far now
i followed this from modshack, i don't get a signal light, if i canget this then i'm sorted
downloaded Girder & the winlirc plugin for Girder & Winlirc 0.6.5 also:
Winlirc: http://winlirc.sourceforge.net/
Remotes Database for Winlirc: http://www.lirc.org/remotes/
Girder & Plugin: http://www.girder.de/
I had one of those all in one remotes and left it a a rc-5 remote, and loaded that remote config into winlirc, which gave me a green signal light every press of the remote, then loaded girder & winlirc plugin(plugin has to be turned on in settings), went to open file in girder and browsed the Ritzdvb folder where there is a folder with a girder config file in and opened that, then for each command (chan + etc) i pressed capture button then pressed the button on the remote. save the file when done, then just set that file to start every time girder starts, and set girder & winlirc to start with windows.
sorry i can't help - im gonna use my pronto and have yet to build my IR interface - good luck.
You seem to be on the right lines tho.
