    Default Fatel Exception.

    Hi, Does anyone know what an, OE 197 BFF7B018, is.
    I get this on a blue screen every time i switch on the computer. Please can you help as its driving me crazy. Regards - Tycapel7.

    More info please. PC spec and OS (betting it's ME)??. Installed anything new lately??.

    Yeah sure.. It means that your PC's detected that the plug socket your PC's plugged into is actually part of the lighting electrical circuit.

    A big no-no in any electrician's guidebook...



    (Try safe mode and remove your AV software.)

    That error code has been reported a fair bit with regards to ME and Anti-Virus software. I think Mr. James wants you to try an uninstall of your AV software (using safe boot).

    Keep pressing F8 just before your computer gets to the Windows Me logo screen. A startup menu will appear. Choose safe mode and see if it boots through to windows. If it does remove your virus checker and restart normally. If it fixes the problem try a different anti-virus program.
