what is the soundcard
i know most sound cards nowadays are able to play more than one sound at once but some of the older / cheaper ones arn't
if it used to try updating/reinstalling the drivers or have a look for something in the lines of how many notes / samples to play at once
ac97 integrated I think
well can play 3 sonmgs at once, 1 in winamp, one in windows mediaplayer and one in realplayer and im using integrated AC97 drivers. what os u got
xp, can't really find the correct drivers but I don't think thats the problem
