    Default 007 AUF hack

What versions will this work on? I didnt think it would work on an xbox newer than ver 1.2, can someone shed some light on this plse. I tried it on a ver 1.3 and it just loaded a saved game ??? I did check to see if there was a save file on the hdd, but there wasnt , just the file i had copied over. :nowords:

I've used it on 1.4 with no problem. Not had a 1.5 to try it on.
Got two different saves on different memory cards. It depends on the version of the bios chip (TSOP bios chip) that is fitted. If it's a winbond, you need to use the linux one and connect from a pc. Any other version I use the one that loads up evo-x
Just remember to use M7 or 4979 for 1.4 onward or you are blxed!!

Yup, raincoat will work with all versions, just make sure you've got the correct bios file in the raincoat folder
I like the evo-x verion (for the non winbond machines) cause it's easier to select 'Flash-Bios' lol lazy bast

1.4 and above supposedly only work with M7 and 4979. So I've not tried anything else. You sure it's a 1.4 though? What is the video chip? Up to 1.3 is COnexant after is Focus.

Default How To Flash Your Xbox Tsop Using 007auf And Raincoat Auto

HOW TO FLASH YOUR XBOX TSOP USING 007AUF AND RAINCOAT AUTOMATICALLY

I'VE RIPPED DIFFERENT BITS OFF VARIOUS SOURCES FOR THIS TUTORIAL, CREDIT GIVEN TO ALL THOSE I COULD REMEMBER.

** NOTE WE WILL USING THE M7 BIOS IN OUR SYSTEM ! **
I HAVE ATTACHED THE WORKING FILE, YOU JUST HAVE TO ADD THE CORRECT M7 BIOS IN THE 00000000 DIR.
MAKE SURE YOUR BIOS FILE IS RENAMED "bios.bin"

AFAIK - As a general rule if your xbox is a v 1.0 or 1.1 you will need the 1 meg bios other xbox versions use the 256k bios.

HOWEVER it is best to identify the tsop chip on the xbox and flash it accordingly. Here is a size table of the internally supported flash types to help you choose bios of correct size:

    "Winbond W49F020" = 262144 Bytes use 256k flash
    "AMD - Am29F040B" = 524288 Bytes use 512k flash
    "AMD - Am29F080B" = 1048576 Bytes use 1 meg flash
    "AMD - Am29LV800B" = 1048576 Bytes
    "FUJITSU - MBM29F040C" = 524288 Bytes
    "FUJITSU - MBM29F080A" = 1048576 Bytes
    "Hynix - HY29F080" = 1048576 Bytes
    "MACRONIX - MX29F022NTPC" = 262144 Bytes
    "Sharp LHF08CH1" = 1048576 Bytes
    "SST SST49LF020" = 262144 Bytes
    "ST M29f002BT" = 262144 Bytes
    "ST - M29F080A" = 1048576 Bytes
    "Winbond - W49F002U" = 262144 Bytes

    XBOX Identification Numbers

    Version v1.0 ******* 20***

    Version v1.0 ******* 21***

    Version v1.1 or v1.0 ******* 23***

    Version v1.1 ******* 24***

    Version v1.1 ******* 25***

    Version v1.2 ******* 30***

    Version v1.3 ******* 31***

    Version v1.3 ******* 32***

    FOR PICTORIAL GUIDE TRY
    http://www.xbox-scene.com/versions_1.php

MAKE SURE YOU GET THIS RIGHT FROM THE START !

1.Download the file 4541000d and add your 256k, 512k or 1 meg M7 bios file needed to flash your unmodded xbox.

    2. FTP into a modded XBOX and copy the ENTIRE UDATA folder from your pc folder to the E: Drive of a modded XBOX.
Note – if you have access to an “actionreplay xbox system” you can skip point 3 and go directly to point 4 by copying the file directly to your xbox memory card.

    3. Load up the M$ Dashboard (on your modded XBOX) and copy the Agent Under Fire save game onto the memory card by going to the Memory Tab on the Dashboard. When you click on the Memory Tab on the M$ Dashboard, you will have two options. It will show you your hard drive which has 50,000+ blocks free and your Memory card which has 502 blocks free. To switch between them, use your directional pad on your controller.
The memory card can be drive H or I in the 1st controller.

    4. Take out the memory card and put it in an unmodded xbox.

    5. Load up the M$ Dashboard (on your unmodded XBOX) and copy the 007 AUF saved game to the unmodded XBOX hard drive (just like you did in #3)

    6. Turn off the unmodded XBOX and solder the 2 sets of points on the motherboard. One set is on top and the other set is on bottom.. They're labeled "Jumper from MCPX RD# to FLASH OE#" on the top of the motherboard and "Jumper MCPX WR# to FLASH WE#" on the bottom of the motherboard in the pictures. Remember to use the electrical tape to cover the surrounding area so you don't get solder all over the place (in case you have really shakey hands). This will prevent you from damaging the XBOX. You can also use the desoldering braid to pick up any excess solder.

PERSONALLY I DON’T USE SOLDER INSTEAD TRY CONDUCTIVE INK.
BE CAREFUL A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY.
DAB IT ON USING A WOODEN TOOTHPICK.

Pictures for flashing TSOP can be found here
    http://www.xbox-scene.com/articles/tsop-images.php

    7. Put motherboard back into unmodded (but now jumpered) XBOX and connect everything.

    8. Turn on unmodded (but now jumpered) XBOX. It should boot as if it was just bought from the store.

    9. Now, boot your original 007- Agent Under Fire game. This MUST be the original DVD. Platinum version works fine as well.

    10. Select "load mission" then select "xbox hard disc" the screen should go black, the black screen is supposed to happen. Make sure your volume is up, you should hear some weird noises and footsteps and things of that nature.

11.The xbox eject power light should turn amber and if the tsop flash works then the xbox will turn itself off.

    THAT’S IT, GOOD LUCK !

**NOTE** - If the tsop cannot be flashed then the tray opens which then resets the xbox.

If it didn't flash, then the bios was either misnamed, was the wrong size, or the write jumpers were not enabled. You will need to check them all.

SPECIAL THANKS TO ANDY, ROBERT, VENTURAHIGHWAY, CLOWNFISH, MANIC AND ALL @ XBOX SCENE

heres the files, make sure you add the correct size m7 bios to the 000000000dir and then rename the m7 to bios bin (it must be in lower case)
