Anyone any idea of what this file is and what its for?
My norton Anti-Virus just found this as a virus and after sh*tloadsa trouble trying to delete it and finding xtgold i managed to get rid of it through dos but now it says it cant find the file so im just wondering whther its a file needed by windows xp? I doubt its an important file as xps running fine but something else is looking for it?
Any ideas?

If Norton found it as a virus - it's a virus.

Run regedit, go to

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

and delete the value that trys to start the deleted file.
