rename the page you want it to load first to be index.html and update any links in the other pages to reflect this change.

You've given it a doubl;e extension (index.html.htm) it needs, as oE correctly put to be called index.html

since this is site critique i will give an opinion -

site is looking good and definitly has potention. just some little hints to make it look more professional.

firstly the margin between the main text and the grey area on the homepage is a bit small. make this bigger and it will look miles better.

if you use a image editor, even as simple as microsoft paint, and reverse the colours on the pictures of the eyes at the top of the screen then they will have a black background and look miles better.

the page heading ( < head > this stuff here < / head > ) is simply the word private without a capitol letter. is this the look you were going for (check out channel 5 teletext) or was this a mistake?

finally a big thing - on the homepage everything is all set up with the area of text which is good. you could copy the text from the other pages so that they too have the same look as the homepage, complete with the heading and navigation bar.

to do this with php you could make one page with automatic template type system with a database, but this is like using a nuclear bomb to crack a wallnut for your purposes so you could just copy and paste the HTML for the headers and navibar onto the other pages.

other than that the site is exactly the sort of thing you want. simple, to the point and tbh a lot better than the websites for a lot of really huge companys.

    wow looks miles better now.

i like the way you made it original, wheras most people would have either ignored me or done exactly as i said.

the navigation on each page is good, and tbh it is better having it at the top cos it gives you more space furhter down the page rather.

only one last minor problem - as you flick thorugh each page they all look slightly different, some of them have differnet backgrounds like the grey bits and stuff and some dont ect. just a minor point - prolly wont make much difference.

    other than good job

ps. just noticed on your links page, when you click a link it still has your domain and your heading on the page, even on other sites.

to fix this add target="_top" to the href tag.
