    It must have taken him hours to tidy his desk and shift all the shit. I have never see anyones pc desk that tidy.

    You should have allowed your telephone wire to unwind a bit more so it lay flat, it would have been a much better picture and showed it off to its best.

    OK ok heres a serious answer for you!

    I've got 4 PC all wirelessly networked..

    Main PC is a 1.4Ghz Athlon Thunderbird with 160Gig Hdd, 128 meg Ge Force Graphics card and 1 Gig of Ram with a Sony 19 inch Monitor with 4.1 sound out creative speakers and a live! soundcard. Running XP

    2nd PC is a 1.8 Celeron with a 40 Gig HDD 512 Meg of Ram wired up to a 17 inch Philips TFT. 2.1 flat panel speakers (sound ace btw). Running XP

    3rd PC is a web/ftp server etc 1.4 Celeron with 256 Meg Ram and a 40 Gig HDD, no monitor or speakers or sound, running Redhat 9.0

    4th PC is a Laptop, very old IBM thinkpad 800 Mhz, 512 Meg Ram and a 20 Gig HDD

    Overall I give my system :thumbs up cos its mine and it hasnt got neons lol

    Yeah I totaly agree mate. One of the advantages with my system is being able to overclock it to 400FSB from it's 166 (2.08GHZ) normal operating speed. My HDD was off my old computer just to get the PC off the ground but next month for my birthday im getting a Maxtor DiamondMax 9 120GB with an 8MB Cache. As for my graphics card I could do alot better but I didn't want to go mad. As for WTD a wireless network must've set you back a bit. When I get my new HDD I'm planning to pick up a monitor, stick in the old HDD and format then put on Win 2K Pro and then buy it a 10/100 PCI Lan Card and get a (long) Cat5E X over Cable which will prove a problem when coming to add another PC but i'm v far away from that.     geforce fx is alright for a bit of casual gamin ... my new pc will only have radeon 9500
    wanted a 9800

    but this pc is a huge upgrade from this one

    HDD: 3 x 80gb HD (MAXTOR 7,200Rpm)
    RAM: 768 SD RAM
    MONITOR: 19" iiyama CRT
    GFX: ATI Radeon 9000 PCI

    Upgrading to ...

    CPU: Pentium 4, 3.06Ghz
    HDD: 120GB
    RAM: 1024MB DDR 333
    MONITOR: err. not sure, might just use my other - only about 2 months old
    GFX: ATI Radeon 9500 128MB

    right im off to play with my new home cinema sound with the xbox!
    just had to buy an optical cable and now im ready to go
    (expecting complaints from the neighbours)
