Oh sorry guys yeah its a DI4001N. Fun card or none inserted. Area is south midlands.
Another thing with these boxes theres another one that looks like it looses signal it cant see any channels or is working only on the lower channels and flashes to black screen and then colours if you can get it to boot fully, this too is a 4001.
It was running fine for months then the power was turned off and it dont seem to find the channels now reporting cant find any services. Both boxes are in the same area, and the second runs on fun,the fist would be if it would boot fully.
hope this is enough if not shout.
Many thanks for the help and input.

Could be that the software is knackered
Try booting up while holding down the power button,
when it says 'okay' on the display let go then,
press the 'interactive', 'guide', 'tv', 'on demand' one after another utill you see the display read '4321' then press the 'ok' button. (I'm at work and can't remember which order the buttons go, but work from the bottom up)

This should then download the software.

Help this helps, it worked for me when my box wouldn't boot

    Good luck

You cant do this on a 4001n mate. Hold the down button when booting up and let go when it says 'boot'. This just skips the download but should operate the box.
    ooops!

Well that box just seems to be stuck in a loop now Tune/Nit/Pat each time you reboot no matter what you do,so maybe have to pull the jumper and start again.
The other box seems to have sprung into life now though so nice one for that guys.
Just press the services button and if falshed NIT then rebooted and I have channels SUPPA!!!! SMASHING!!!!!!!!!:cartman
