Check this out and tell me if u think this countries going to the pot.

Went to my mates house and a guy in his streets bedroom was burnt out by a ciggy...so insurrance company tell him to leave home and they put him n his family up in another house until the builders can repair damage. Well before the builders come round some guys break in and have refused to leave...To top it off the police have said if he tries to remove the squatters then they'll arrest HIM. What kinda law do we have. Sounds to me more like law of the jungle.

yea sqatters are twats, cost my uncle 8 months of shite and a lot of dosh.
just go round with a few m8's in the night and kick the shite owta them, then set ur m8's up in the place with beer etc till work done alot cheaper and quicker.

yeah I know it`s a bummer but even squatters have rights, but I thought if they forced entry then it would be illegal, and therefore you can legally turf them out

From what I heard. Someone broke into the place a few nights before. Hence, access without criminal damage.

Does`nt the property have to be vacant? ie: as having no one living there at all, not just away for a while, cause if you own the house,or own the lease to the house and its your residence, surly they are tresspassing..

I be tempted to follow cncity`s advise mate!!! sounds like a winner to me, most of these squatters are undernurishied sickly looking ****er at best, too much education and not enough real life experiences so when most of `em leave uni, they think they can spout the same lefty bullshit thay do in college, and expect the rest of us to say "oh, ok you have rights to.....!"...well i say bollox to that get round there and give the buggers a reality check and a cold blunt wake-up call....

You dont need to kick the sh1t out of them, just tie them up, throw them in the boot of the car and dump them somewhere in scotland in the middle of a field !

i thought the property had to be empty for a minimum of 6 months before squatters could claim rights to the property
as far as i am aware they can't just find an empty house and move in that would put any property at risk if you decided to go on holiday for a fortnight
if the house hasn't been left empty for the last 6 months i would be telling em to have another look at the law you might well find the have no rights whatsoever

If they are asylum seekers, you could probably speak to someone who could investigate they're legal status of being in the country...
Or talk about it loudly in a few local pubs, specially those haunted by members of the far right, im sure the problem will resolve itself
