It's nothing new... Offal is eaten all over Western Europe.... I was eating brain, stomach and other bits while I was in Bulgaria it is very tasty (surprisingly)... Though the Bulgarians don't ****ing cover it in a ton of batter... I am sure you could deep fry shit and give it to the yanks... they wont know the difference!
