Whats the network?, you could have the wrong cable co loaded, if you are in a NTL area, then try a CW hex, also double check that the ird and bk are correct.
Im in a TW area (W Mids). The hex file creator has the option to create a TW version which I did. Can nebody suggest anything else pls? I do have a TW cfg file but dont know how to use it.
The cfg files are normally for Libby and wont be of much use for programming a fun card.
Where did you did the ird from and also how did you get the bk? also what box is it? and what software did you use to make the funcard with?
As much info as possible please.
in my soft (mr-e) hehe it makes an internal and a flash put internal in internal flash in flsh etc in multiprog or whichever
as long as u have added correct bk n ird usually starts at 12 everything should b fine
usual errors r
incorect bk or
user cant prog a fun etc <joke lol
I got the IRD from the engineer menu next to nagra id, is this correct, & the BK from a memeber on this forum from the DB? It is a pace 1000. I have a Infinity USB programmer & used the softwre supplied to prog the card. The software I used to create the hex's was MR-e's hex file 1.2. Thanks 4ur hlp here m8.
another thing also on some new funcards u i have noticed if u dont erase fun b4 programming also can cause sim err
also when adding ird n bk r u putting spaces
ie 12345678
12 34 56 78 ?
You could try rst_v1[1].4 (but Mr E's hex should work on any box).
If you have the correct ird and bk then it should work, if you pm me the ird, I can double check that its the correct bk that your using.
Also mystere is correct make sure that the card is erased, before your write the files, even on a new fun card.
Had this a few times and the prob was the ****ing cards!!!Originally Posted by Big AP

yes mate you do need a willem
A Willem involves desoldering a 48 Pin Amtel Chip and getting a reader thats like £100 , and then resoldering it
Its simply not worth it unless you want to do this for mates and have the skills to do it , people on here will sell you a box for a reasonable price tho *Hint*. But without a box key your Fooked
remember 2 reverse ya ird number, that is if ya read is from the engineers menu.
eg
12 34 56 78 would be 78 56 34 12
hasta la yeah baby yeah!

works on any box ??????
without adding bk or have i still gotta have bk to enter??
not sure what u mean m8
Never go by the sticker on top of the scart socket, the atmels may have been flashed with a dump from another box. Always read the ird from within the engineers menu to confirm.

ok got that but do i still need to find bk forOriginally Posted by roy46

???????
You must get the matching bk to go with the ird. Without it, it will not work no matter what hex you decide to put on your funcard.

LionZart to get the Boxkey your taling £130+ (Willem/SolderPro70)
