Please Please Help Barking Dog

My next but one neighbour has a dog that continuously barks when they all go out, is there anything I can do legally or to otherwise to shut this dog up.

It is driving me mad and every time we go round they are like, “yeah sorry”. We have a dog and we have trained it I can’t see why we should have to put up with this constant noise.

I've got the same problem, fortunately (one way of looking at it...) they are the scrotes of society and are hardly ever all out of the house at the same time.

Contact your local council, they will do something. You might have to fill in a log for a while.

The dog is stressed, tell the owners to leave the tv on for the mutt, or a radio or something... That should help to keep him quiet for a bit... They could also hide treats around the house to keep him intrested. If they refuse, shoot them and teach the dog yourself.

With my experience of local councils your best bet would be to poison the thing.

Environmental Health won't do much. Do contact them tho as it has to be logged, do they own their house? could report to the landlord?

also contact the RSPCA they have the right to take te dog away from the owners. If may put thye wind up them.

One of my mates is a postman and he used to really get wound up by a dog barking all night, his sleep was precious as he had to get up very early being a postie, so one night he got up and used some of his dogs dog food, laced it with a load of medicine and tablets and took it down and fed it to the fooker.

He didnt hear a peep out of it for days and was feeling guilty that he may have killed it, then he heard it barking again a few nights later. We reckon he must have knocked the fooker out for a few days.

Or....Chuck a load of ex-lax chocolate over the fence when the dog is in the gardens, and hopefuly the next time they go out and leave it indoors it`ll crap all over the house..failing that, keep a log of times and and how long the dog barks for, then contact the councils inviromental heath( noise abatement dept) and complain turn over the evidence and see what happens!!
