FUNCARD no picture? CARD STATUS "WAITING"

Hi I have just done a Funcard from an Atmel read. The box boots up and I get the info channel. I cannot get a picture on any channel. It comes up with a box saying "ATTENTION" This channle is tempoprarily unavailable. Please wait a minute. This stays and never goes away. In the Engineers Menu it says for CARD STATUS. WAITING.

what box and hex are you using? what network?

The box is a 2000 the network is TW and the hex is X-tw v2.hex. I have used this HEX a lot and it always works I used it on my m8s box at the same time I did this one.

i would double check your bk\ird are correct and that the card is ok try another maybe? or a rom crd.

Does the bk start with 6D and end with 9A?

If it does then its more then likey to be a force bk

I'll try another card and a ROM. The BK does not start with those. I got it from the Atmels but its possibly a bad read. The thing is the channels are all showing up as accessible ( not dulled)

Right I tried a ROM card and it does the same. I was able to order PPV and when the time came to start it switches over but again I get the Black screen. Everything seems fine with it except no picture! Is it possible that an IRD and BK could somehow be barred? Or could the BK still be wrong even though I am able to order PPV.

Just checked the Eng Menu and on page 11 "STATUS MONITORING" it has
under "Event Message" CM Broadcast Ranging Fail.

Tried it again with a new HEX but no difference. I have noticed that there are a few channels on, 409 and 107, Bravo and a couple of others. Could it be a fault with the tuner?

cards hex is wrong try messing around with the ird 12 00 00 00 and 00 00 00 12
