      Default laptop HDD to PC IDE.

      Ok as above says i have this working fine, got my old laptop HDD sitting in my PC as we speak.

      Now all i want to do is the other way round, i want to use a IDE Hdd in my Laptop.

      I searched google quick but came up with **** all.. only the other way round to what i need.

      Anyone done this or know where i can buy a converter?

      There is an adapter available from Maplins that allows you to connect an IDE HDD to a USB port.

      or just buy an external harddrive box that plugs in usb port. bout £30 on ebay
