    Default Upgrading PC..Help!

    Hi guys /n Guyettes,

    Ok I am looking to upgrade my PC in a few months (when money is sweet ) I must first apologise for the lack of technical termanology and things
    I Have a 995Hz? AMD k7 CPU, Its mounted on a SiS All In One System Board, This board comes with a standard graphix card, standard sound card ,2 PCI slots and 2 Memory Slots, I also have 2 30gig HDD installed, CD-Rom and CD Writer.
    I have a seperate sound card installed as I need somthing decent, Now I am looking to upgrade, I am going to buy a New Case with a clear side panel and wish to install a LED Fan and maybe some other kind of Neon Bar, I wish to upgrade my CPU ( maybe 2 gig) add more memory ( 512+) and buy a new graphix card.

    I need infomation on where I can buy a decent graphix card, LOTS of memory and a Fast Chip, with a decent board. I am also worried about when I buy a new board will it fit into my new case?

    Also about cooling, will I need extra fans etc to keep my PC cool with the Neon bar inside it?

    So Basically I need a New ;
    * Mother Board
    * CPU and LED Fan
    * Memory ( 512MB + )
    * Graphix Card ( A Decent one to play these newer Games I have )
    * Neon Tube
    * New Case with Clear Side Panel
    * DVD Writer/Reader ( Maybe )

    Sorry for the lack of knowledge on this topic, But maybe will understand the point I am saying and know how to answer ? :|

    Thanks

    try www.planetmicro.co.uk , they are based in Failsworth so you can pick up the bits and save on postage

    make sure the motherboard you buy has the same form factor as the case you buy , ie ATX , microATX ,

    really depends on the money you have got to what you can buy , if I was you I would email planet micro with similar description to this and give them an idea of the money you want to spend and see what they come back with
    Cheers

    Good Specs from Ghetto Moose, if you wated to lower that price then go for a cheaper Case, Motherboard and loose the DVD-RW for the min. Stuff like that can all be added later. The PC wouldn't be faster than Bill Gates, pretty adequite spec, I wounder what Gatsey is using :nowords: Sumit sick and un modded! :tongue

    Good Luck,
