    Default Bus Lanes

I don't tend 2 use bus lanes (when they're active) but I'll often be sitting in a long line of traffic 2 c cars zoom by illegally in the bus lane. I can't say I care 2 much, they've seen a place and taken it, and in fact I think it can decrease congestion and benefit every1. Don't no why I don't do it more really....

Newayz wonderin wat people think about it.

why are they likely to cause a crash ? i occasionally use a buslane for an approx 1/2 mile stretch as it can literally take 5-10 minutes off my journey (my total journey is only 10-12mins usually). however, i do think they are f*cking ridiculous and create a lot more problems (conjestion) than they solve - in my experience anyway.

marcode they have them in glasgow city centre. I use them, they are meant for taxis and buses. Its a lot faster as they can turn right to take you up some streets when normal cars need to take a big stupid long route

I view it just like speeding, its minor shit and if you get caught you get fined £30 and maybe a point or two, no big deal.

The 16 people who are letting bus lane abusers bother them need to get stoned or something and chill. :grr:

Doesn't really bother me when somebody undertakes in an active bus lane, what does make me laugh though is the amount of people that will sit in a queue when you can legally use the bus lane (the idea that a bus lane can be used at certain times of the day seems to be an alien concept for some people).

leeds is bad not only bus lanes but lanes for multi occupent cars too, so if you are driving to work alone you get stuck in a huge queue, if you have a partner/gf/kids/collegue in the car it can knock 30 mins off the drive in rush hour.

I cut through the ones in glasgow often, but I drove about with fake plates on my car for a bit, some other sod is probably getting the fines.

I fookin hate people who drive down the bus lane, they are forever slowing the buses down as they try to weave in and out of traffic. *******s. The biggest bunch of fookin scumbags though are people who PARK in bus lanes while they nip into a news agents or somesuch, causing the bus to have to move into normal traffic slowing everyone down because some lazy twat couldnt be arsed to park round the corner. Put traffic wardens on mopeds and allow them to fine people who block traffic so selfishly. #200 snots should do it.
