When downloading mail into my Inbox,it hangs on message 64 of 200ish.
It waits and waits, then gives up.
This prevents me from receiving any subsequent mail.
Can I view or delete this particular message.
Running XP,Outlook Express.
Cheers.

Funny you should mention this because I'm currently experiencing a similar problem with an email account my webhost is, er, hosting.Originally Posted by beekae
You might be able to use Mailwasher (from here) or something similar to delete the offending email(s).
I wonder what's causing the problem though...

How about trying to change the timeout?
Are you runing an antivirus program like norton as I had a similar problem like this and when I turned off norton protect just on the email. Then downloaded all the emails and then I turned norton back on before opening any.
Keep It Real!
That was it !!!
Turned off Norton Anti-Virus and Spamkiller, and all the craps now pouring into my Inbox.
I'll go clear it out and turn them back on again.Kinda defeats the purpose,eh !
Thx everyone for their help.
