Strange ISOs

i've got 2 ISOs recently. one playes fine, the other doesnt.. i'm wanting to extract the files from both but no matter what i try i get "this is not an XBISO" or "this is an invalid image format" ect..

i've tried, Craxtion, SimpleXISO then some normal ones ISOBuster, WinISO.. i would have just though they were dodgie files but like i said one of them playes fine.

any ides??

can you burn them to DVD and see if it makes any difference or if they work in an Xbox ?

i've burnt them both to DVD.. one plays fine!?
but the other comes up as unknown and it's that one that's my main problem, they are both from a reliable source and they are both supposed to work.. i realy need to be able to extract the files from the ISO so i can try patching it to see if that makes any difference

Sounds like it may be corrupted - if you cant get a good burn from it - it could need to be patched, but as it wont extract either.....thats the real proof.

even reliable sources have bad images mate - try re-burning if not re-download or seek a different source for it

I once created an image with Craxion and that really screwed up.
Game me an image with really weird file names.
Maybe something like that happened.

Try xFER, I find this normally extracts Xbox ISO's that other programs claim to be corrupt/damaged.

If you downloaded it as a complete ISO, try extracting it.

Sometimes people RAR them again to save a bit on the size.

dude i`m stoned but cant you ftp the files from the xbox just becuase it dont boot you may still get the files
