Default Do I have to Mod my WILLEM to Write to Atmels?

Do I need to Mod my Willem to WRITE to Atmels? If so any diagrams or info much appreciated.
When writing to the Atmel is it the HEX file or the BIN file that I write to the chip? or soemthing else?

.......and once I've mastered the great writing art where can I buy the Atmels to write too. ;-)

.......and once I have the art and have the Atmel, can I then just use the readings from another box and put that info onto the Atmels and thereby clone the first box?

I asked for cloned Atmels because I don't know how to write the things. I wasn't going to bother learning as I only need 2 or maybe 4 as I think I said. I asked about writing them because as I have a Willem I thought I may as well give it a try myself. If I thought about starting a business I would cjhoose the one that I'm in at the moment as I make serious money. What part of what I said made any reference to starting a business?. This is a hobby M8. I thought (wrongly) that as this was a forum for the exchange of views and helping each other in learning more I would ask for help.
I searched all through the Forums looking for the info that you say is well covered else where. Maybe before making that statement you should have trried a search and found out that the info that I asked for was NOT readily available. No need to apologise for your wrong assumptions after all your the boss, eh.

    i said it's been covered lot's of time's but! i didn't say here.and asking for atmel's with f\w on or dump's is a no,no. not just here but on almost all forum's.
it is a hobby yes,but that also mean's you have to do some of the work yourself anyway i'm not a complete arse so i'll get you started. if you wanna ask for stuff like that again read the sticky's or do it private.

Well I caught site of the title of this thread and thought I'd post my Willem Settings tut but see its already made its way over from the shack ;-)
I'd like to add that you seem to get equally good (if not more reliable) results with the vpp jumper closed but i think the most valuable piece of advice I can give is to ensure the legs of the amtels are clean by using a fibreglass pen on them. The amount of crap that comes off them and the difference it makes in terms of improving the contact between amtel and TSOP is amazing.

    Cheers
