    Default Kawa-x setup

    Ello,

ok I have just dumped kawa-x onto my xbox, I also have a rom I'd like to play on it... Metal Slug 5 ( cueball ducks low) which I got from suprnova.... anyway it looks like the game is decompressed but it is in a zip file, it has come with the neogeo zip too.

So I stick the roms in the rom folder... but kawa does not see any games... I tried refreshing the game list (x) I've also scanned the different programs (Right shoulder button) but nothing is there... any ideas?

kawax only plays older roms, theres protection to stop you playing the newer stuff (the same reason as mame removed games less than 3 years old). You need a version of kawax plus to play the newer ones.

Its not the easiest to get working, but u can often find the roms with an xbox compatible version to download individually

theres a hacked version of kawax specifically for mslug5 on suprnova which had the rom already included , for some reason the rom was named wrong tho, if you remamed it to slug5.zip it works
