Hi,
Say that I have an original copy of Halo. With that I can play on Xbox Live and that's ok. However, say I lend that original to someone, and they copy the game. Now, I know that Xbox Live should be able to detect that it is a copied game and so ban that person from going onto Xbox Live with their copied game, but will this also mean that *I* will be banned ?? i.e. I did no copying or anything wrong, but someone has copied my game, and I end being banned on Xbox Live ? From how I understand Xbox games, the person who copies the game will not be able to go onto Xbox Live, so this should not affect me, but some people believe that if they give out their games, then this will mean that they get banned on Xbox Live. Can you folks give me a clear answer on this one : Is it safe to lend an original game to someone, or do i risk them copying it and then I get banned on Xbox Live ?
Thanks very much !
WT.
