what you need to do is click on the first rar in the series (.rar or .r01) and then right click and extract to.

what i think you are doing is selecting all the rar files and right click "add to rar"
which is just creating a large rar from all the smaller ones.

Hi thanks for your reply, ive downloaded 2 different groups of rar files today, the strange thing is 1 set of rar files (14x7.2mb)worked properly and the other set (14x47.6mb)didnt,the working set gave me bin/cue which is what usually happened but the second set gave me 1 single rar file (669mb)when i was after an iso,i tinkered about with some settings in winrar thinking it was that but stiill no joy,any further advice would be greatly appreciated as this is really starting to pi$$ me off..............thanks in advance

You not getting an single ISO file from your RAR's are you ? but .iso files happen to be associated with winrar so it gives it the winrar icon instead ?

    cheers
