Just found this on ebay

Make your telly into a 150" projector, I remember seeing some plans on how to make your own but this one has a bit of plastic and looks like it could work. I was wondering how it works cos my tv isnt very bright and I doubt it could reach the other side of the room

any views?

looks just like a fresnel lens that bit of plastic m8 . Have a look at the attatched pdf's about a "big tv project" ... they may help , and good luck

I was gunna have a go at this a while back, but then looking around I found that they rally suck, you wont get good results. The cheapest way into projection without a projector is to get a lcd panel and an ohp, whilst you wont get great results you will get something for not much. You grab something like this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...category=22610 and stick it on an ohp, whilst not a compact solution, its a quick and cheap method.
