Problem with ordering Sky online

Im trying to sign up to Sky+ as a new customer online. It gets to the stage where I enter my details and then i submit it and it says they are experiencing problems and to call them.

Now 2 questions;

- Does anyone else get this problem?
- Why dont they disable the feature to sign up becase you get through all the options and that and putting in your details and THEN they say they are having problems.

I have no idea, but i do know that they have a month back log of orders of Sky+ and they going to bring a cheaper make box too, so best to phone them and get the order in fast !
