have started test broadcasts for an hour at 7am and 7pm each day (Sat/Sun 9am-11am, 6pm), Sky Digital Channel 268 (Friendly TV).

Watched Irish Whip Wrestling tonight, including Jake The Snake, and a decent Jody Fleisch-Jonny Storm match. Also features NOAH, FWA, FCW, RoH, NWA:TNA (Xplosion), UPW, and some 'classic' stuff. Timetable on website.

March/April full launch.

Just to update, the initial test programming will be edited for blood etc due to times (pre-watershed etc) so the CZW and RoH (especially) will be a lot tamer than anyone may be used to, but the full channel will be 100% (late night!!).

The much vaunted UK based Wrestling Channel have finally confirmed their launch date. In a statement posted at their website, they state March 15th 2004 as their launch date :

"The Wrestling Channel will be launching on SKY Digital in the UK, on March 15th 2004. The Wrestling Channel will be bringing you the hottest Pro-Wrestling action from around the globe. Weekly TV shows from Japan, UK and the US indies, as well as some of the most memorable classic wrestling from the 70's, 80's & 90's.

Due to the positive response from the Friendly TV test transmissions during December, further test programming is now likely before the launch."
