Desktop PC Hardware help needed!

I have a Fujistu Siemens Desktop PC. The on/off button in the PC has stopped working meaning that I cannot switch the PC on using it. I now have to use the on/off switch next to the power in supply, even then this does not work every time. Additionally, when I switch it on using this method it occassionally switches off itself.

I can hold the button in once the PC's on and it will shut-down, however I just close it in the normal fashion by using "start" and "shut down".

I run MS XP operating system. Help please?????

I will double check, but I would have thought not as I can switch it off using this button and the old "hold for 10 second rule"

Is it one of the PCs from Rap, the Scenic range? If so check the case is fully on and nothing is getting in the way of the case being fully on. I had this with my case as the whole front section comes off and sometimes the button doesnt reach when it is put back on!

Maybe when you are holding for 10 seconds you are putting enough pressure on the button :nowords:
