How do you reset the Service Now light in middle of the dash..Thanks

I assume you are talking about the red LCD (written = 'SERVICE') in the middle of the dash cluster. These can be reset by the owner and although I don't remember exactly how, it gives instructions in the owners manual (actually all VW's do) how to do this.

If it's the word 'service' on the little grey odometer LCD, you just switch ign off, press trip stalk in and hold it while switching ign on again, keeping it held in until - - - - appears. Sometimes on some VW's you need to twist the left hand stalk clockwise to clear the service at this point. Its in the manual too.:rtfm
