hi is there any new software out there to unlock a panasonic gd87 it is only 4 weeks old i have uesd software to try and read the phone which then gives me a code for me to type in but the software well not read the phone
the phone is on t-mobile

If the program does not give u a code then u need to downgrade it to a lower version v A22 or lower and then read the codes. Then u can upgrade it again. Look for a program called winmodo 3.3 i think. U will also need to find the flash file as well. Make sure u have full battery when down/upgrading otherwise these fones have been known to be dead for good !!! Use at your own risk !!!!

Read for downgrading the Panasonic GD87
<HR style="COLOR: #000000" SIZE=1>the downgrade has worked and im going to tell you how to do it.

okay we will need the program so go to:

http://www.vsh-gsm.com/free.htm

And download "WinMoDo 3.3b"

also vist here:

http://www.vsh-gsm.com/freefls.htm

and download the flash file:

"GD87 A22"

unzip the language pack is inculed so your on your way now

now open "WinMoDo 3.3b"

and load the image file and language file

"NOTE Make sure the "BOOT" "MAIN" "LANGUAGE" are selected "GREEN"

now select the panasonic GD87 phone from the drop down menu
also change the "BAUD RATE" to - 115200

Then put your data cable into your mobile then click start download when it says "Signalling" press the power on button then it should do it all

then use Panasonic GD6x/GD8x Code Reader
which can be downloaded from here:

now your phone will be unlocked

worked great for me have fun

ive tried your method but it comes up press power..........time out
im using a usb cable on com 5.ive tried the other com ports as well but still no luck.

any ideas?

A USB cable will not work on "com ports" m8, you need the serial datacable to do this.
