check your air filter, if thats clogged up that will give less mpg.

Petrol prices risen substantially therefore you get less petrol for the same amount of money

You put on weight so the car struggles more

Lately its been windy, you're driving against the wind

    Sorry dude - seriously now

Its been colder lately therefore your auto choke may stay on a little longer thus using more petrol to warm the engine up, or you need to renew parts such as your spark plugs etc. maybe take it in for a service. Also make sure your tyre pressure is OK
Ive noticed I recently used a lot of petrol but I'm just too dammed lazy to service my car. Maybe do sommink in the summer :nowords:

You always tend to get a few less mpg in the winter due to the automatic choke staying on longer in the cold. My A4 tdi has gone from 39.8 down to 37.5 MPG over the last few months and my driving hasn't changed.
I would leave until the weather warms up and if your still getting less MPG than you used to get someone to look at it.

30quid to fill your tank...jeez i sooo must be driving the wrong car but then i only get 25mpg anyway ..... the way i see it i drive cos i like it and to get to work .... not really fussed how many miles to the gallon i do...you only live once

But on the losing miles point .... your car will deffo run richer in this weather mat be a contributing factor ??

25mpg, I wish. More like 15 but then I drive a V8 disco so its my own fault!

You've not got a roofrack on it have you? They reduce your mpg by 15% or more.
