These albums are made by the DJ's in Wigan pier to keep the club going.

They only cost £4-5 for the originals you know.

There wont be a wigan pier left at the rate these albums keep getting traded.

Also do wigan pier even get the rights to sell the cds? Aren't ya meant to pay royalties and wot not?

Also as for there being no wigan piers in future who cares ya can get the tunes before they appear on wigan piers so all ya need to do is mix them yaself or if ya still want to hear the djs mix goto the club

As for the trading there would be alot less if they didnt put that stupid protection on that wont let ya play them in comps and car stereos (obviously not all) But me and alot of friends have to download em not just to get em to play in the car for listening too their own fault reallytongue

A, They are only sold at the club, anyone else charging you £15 just made £14.80 on a CD-r on you.

B, No they probably dont pay royalties and they do charge £3 for a beer and i realised this after posting so fuck them anyway.

C,The ones you get from wigan pier are on CD-rs too, so i doubt they have any copy protection

However, if you do go to Wigan pier(or other such clubs), the profit from these CD's is what pays the wages of the DJ's and MC's who make the night so you should really be buying them you cheapskates.

A. You are wrong, they are sold in record shops in wigan and bolton also a few other towns!! For £10 - £15 depending on which one you buy!

B. Lol its a bit of a rip off in there but is a GREAT TIME :thumbs

C. Maybe the ones from wigan pier dont have copy protection but the ones sold in record shops have some weird protection thats wont allow it to be played in computers which affects some hi end hifi and car systems!! Obviously there is a way round this or they wouldnt be availiable on the net!!

The dj's from wigan pier own their own record shop (also a place to buy pier cds!!) and get alot of custom from djing at wigan pier as lots of people/dj's want the tunes they play!
As for these cds keep the club going LMAO so you are saying this is true for monroes, maxwells, maximes which are prob slightly smaller or about the same size?? even tho the the owners of these clubs are probably millionaires (i know this to be a fact for at least one of them)

You can carry on buying them but until i get them in the shops a visit without copy protection i will not but them!!
