House of the dead on PC HEELLP MEEE

I have had house of the dead for the pc for years now. thing is that XP does allow installation of it. i kno that once u have installed a game u can run it as if it was on windows 95/98 etc by right clickin the game>porperties>compatability>run this in compatability mode for windows ???. thing is its not letting me install the game. ne 1 got ne ideas how to get past this problem.

run the setup file in compatability mode?
