Monroes raided & closed

i woz there last night out on my birthday bash and it got swamped with

police
Lancashire nightclub has been shut down after being raided by two hundred police officers in the early hours of this morning.

Drugs, two Samurai swords and CS gas canisters were found at Monroe's The All Nighter Dance Club in Great Harwood at 3 o'clock.

The unlicensed and private members club, has become the first in the country to be shut down under tough new laws aimed at tackling anti-social behaviour and drug abuse.

Eighty five people have already been arrested and questioned during an eighteen month long operation by the Lancashire force.

but does this mean that all allnighters will be closed down in the nxt couple ov months years or was there a good reason to close monroes apart from the drugs i mean what else do u expect from a all nighter

Apart from the drugs? lol maybe the organised crime and the weapons found???
Happens to all good allnighters eventually - allnighters means drugs > dealers & organised crime > turf wars > violence > cops > close

One good thing is an underground scene will have to come thro now - always more fun

do u think this will effect other allnighter like niche in sheffield and the warehouse at donny as these r my local allnighters now tha imsomniacz has move to crasher and close's at 3 :annoyed:

Same happened to a club in Birmingham called Tin Tins, raided loads of times, bouncers selling pills, a lad died outside, lost the booze licence but that just made people do more pills.

Licences for clubs are much harder to obtain now a days, the good days have sadly gone.
