samsung drive, wont read +/- media

just done an x-box with the executer 2.3b lite, and the samsung drive wont read any +/- media, but install a different drive from a v1.0 and everything works fine. the samsung drive reads original dvd and x-box media, and is only 2 days old, any ideas? thanks.

reads original dvd, and original x-box games, it even red the cdrw with the flash bios, so this is very strange.

are u sure u flashed with the correct bios?

other than that, are u sure the +/- disks your tryin actually work at all?

got it sorted put evolution x v1.8, reads plus disks for games, and minus for films, the bloke was happy, and i was glad to see the back of it, give me a ps2 with a messiah 2 any day, prefer fitting them as get no hassel.

I have a Samsung drive in my Xbox (version 1.1) and have only ever used + media. It doesn't seem to be bothered about brands either as I have several games on crappy 45p discs and yet this isn't the first time that I have heard people say that +R don't work.
Perhaps it's the later models that have the problm.
