Default How do I get an F: partition

I've managed to back up my games but I'm now having problems trying to create a F: partition. I've got a standard retail drive but when I try to format the F drive with Slayers it doesn't do anything. Should I try rebuilding the drive as a large one ?

    Cheers
    Jim

It's very possible your retail drive is to small to have any space for an F: drive.

If I remember correctly some were 10 gig and some were 8 gig, with only the 10's being able to format the F: to 2gig.

Hope that helps (and is correct)

I do have the WD drive so looks like I'll have to upgrade to something bigger. At the moment I only really wanted it to give xdisk a go but from what I've read I'm not really missing too much anyway

Used Slayers from my HD just to format the F partition - worked a charm and in seconds.

2 gigs Extra free space :O)
