    Default Suprnova virus warning

found this from the watcher @ http://www.bittorrentportal.com

(which is a good source of BT news and info)

    WARNING SUPRNOVA HAS A VIRUS

Anyone visitng http://www.novasearch.net (the offical search site for SuprNova.org) would have been greeted by a nice virus today - a payload virus by the name of trojan.ByteVerify. The virus is attached to one of their many popups so you will only get the virus you are unfortunate to get that offending advert to load. The virus puts a trojon on your pc and crashes your browser. Unless you have antirus software it is almost impossible to detect and it will sit on your pc monitoring your activity and adjusting your security settings.

I warn you all NEVER visit SuprNova without an antivirus installed. They are willing to sell their advertising spots to anyone and so far we have had pron popups, a fake spyware bittorrent client and now viruses.

Personally i just cant wait until TT is complete and the SUPERSITE is up and running then I kiss goodbye to SuprNova and all their shit.

P.S. There are also links to some up and coming X-box torrent sites on there, look out for one coming soon which will specialise in x-box.

i've never had a trojan or virus from supernova or novasearch i guess having a pop up stopper could be the reason.

Ah that explains it! I've been getting Norton alerts to virus' all day. Wondered what was happening.

It would pop up with an infected file so i scanned the whole folder which came up clean. Minutes later another file in that same folder infected.

I've had suprnova, novasearch open all day.

    Grrrr

I dont think Novasearch is much good anyway.... most of the older torrent are invalid even though it states there are seeders!?!?!? If you check every couple of days you will always find what you need submitted on the main page.... if not there is good old IRC :thumbs

Yep just been there and norton went mad.
    Went back and nothing happened!!
'Sausages! Hot sausages! Inna bun! Meat pies! Get them while they're hot!'
... Hole food! Hole food! Rat! Rat! Rat-onna-stick! Rat-in-a-bun! Get them while they're dead!'
