Official : Battlestar Galactica picked up by SciFi

It's official, Sci-Fi have finally made a statement that they will be picking up a 13 episode first season of Battlestar Galactica.

I watched the mini series recently and have to say it's awesome! Can't wait for this - hope they don't fux0r it like they did with Firefly though..

looks like the mini series is going to premiere on sky movies as they are plugging it like mad on the movie channels at the moment with "Battlestar Galactica : The Lowdown", although having watched the mini series, i cant say i'm too thrilled about even 13 more episodes, i thought it was worse than galactica 1980 and that was so bad it was cancelled after 10 episodes.

i'd rather see galactica resurection.

How frequent/decent are the space battles?? I've seen a few snippets from the adverts on Sky One - they look pretty sweet, but then again I spose you can make any program look good if your only showing 10 seconds worth.

How frequent/decent are the space battles?? I've seen a few snippets from the adverts on Sky One - they look pretty sweet, but then again I spose you can make any program look good if your only showing 10 seconds worth.

I downloaded the whole thing a little while back and I have to say it is amazing. We need people to watch these show if only to show we are not all into the crap reality trash they pump out these days... the story is better than the original and the characters are good. SFX are up there with movies and worth the wait. There is quite a bit of space fights and when it happens they do not dissapoint
