[2005/6] Simpsons the movie

no link yet but it was just confirmed that fox has given the greenlight to matt groening (sp?) for a simpsons feature move with a hoped for release of xmas 2005.

Heard this on the radio this morning on the way into work (XFM 104.9) - I remember this coming around before. The original plot was for the characters to get a little older. Bart was supposed to loose his virginity in it but the studio execs didn't like that idea :-\

id like to see a simpsons movie, i reckon that if they can keep it good for 11 years (or however long it is) then theyd be able to write a good movie about it
