Gunny can you explain those 8 ball rules, they're a lot different to the game down the local.

It's pretty straight forward.

Main points of contention -

1. No 2 hits - whatever the foul you only get one go.
2. Have to hit your own ball first if you want to pot it.
3. After a scratch the white must pass over the "bulk" line before striking your own ball if you want to pot it.
4. No such thing as a free ball - can't pot an opponents ball and continue your go.
