Default APACHE HIT: Evidence of a War Crime?

APACHE HIT: Evidence of a War Crime?

After checking this out for some days now, I think it's okay to post this without anyone thinking it's some horrible snuff-movie. Because I personally don't agree with those sort of films, it's bad KARMA.
This movie clip, is as it is, so to speak. It is what it say's it is: "Evidence of a War Crime".
As to the point of whether this is true or not, is entirely up to you, the member who is viewing it, to decide what is nd what isn''t?

Also of note, the second individual gunned down by the helicopter appears to wave something prior to being shot. A white flag perhaps?

Reminds me of Mencken's tale of a briefing during WWII that ended up being "off the record."

The second individual gunned down by the helicopter looks to be unwrapping something. A stinger missle perhaps?

The third individual is pretending to be wounded. This is a common trick to lure our men in close so he can fire on them. Hit em hard!

If you want to look at a war crime then look at the video of the World Trade Centers hit by the jet airliners and all the innocent people being killed. Remember Bin Laden declared war on the USA prior to this event.

Initiall I saw this and cheered and thought get em get em, but the closer I look, its a farming tractor and furrows behind it. You can see the thin seed rows behind the first shot. Perhaps these were farmers? But then again, what are farmers doing out in the middle of the night?

that is a fascinating video, ive now watched it at least 5 times and i still cant work out what exactly is going on. i am curious what the individuals that are targeted are doing out at night as someone on the thread gadgetman posted said. i dont believe that the third man was faking it as it makes no sense whatsoever to crawl out when facing (as we are told) an apache! i am aware that it is possible that the US forces could have shot innocent civilians but i have more of a tendency to think that there would be a good reason for the incident. surely the video would be traced back to a mission and reasons for it given? also, why has this not been reported widely in the media? normally whenever there is doubt or potential controversy over something, particularly with regards iraq with such a divided public opinion, the media report it over and over again and as a result enquiries are opened.

one last thing, how has this video been released? i highly doubt the pilot himself has released it, that would make no sense as it just leaves him open to criticism (and potential charges if it was concluded that it was a war crime). so someone else has done, who else has access to mission videos? and ones that surely would be classified at that?!?

i dont know, up to us to make up our own minds, mine isnt made up. very interesting gadgetman, thanx for the link

i posted before i read the abcnews article. in the video on the link there is a lot that isnt seen, we only see a one minute and eight second video while the abcnews article talks in terms of several minutes, which gives a one sided perspective- there is no tube shaped weapon shown, and as a result we as the viewer are left to wonder the reasons behind the attack. id like to see the whole video before i make my mind up more definitely

having watched it several more times, and read through that article, i think that the initial firing was acceptable (provided the facts reported in the abcnews article were accurate). the only question is whether number three should have been shot at again, from that video i dont think theres enough shown. plus we have the benefit of being able to analyse over a period of time, for those pilots it was a split second decision

In all honesty.... If Apache Indian was to release another HIT... it would be classed as a war crime.

hi ok for a start they got what they deserve
this was a total set up for american army to walk right into a ambush
you got one guy sitting in a truck and the other behind a tank
    this is a classic ambushed
they where not a group of people who wanted to give themself up

the guy does look like he is getting a white flag
more like a machine gun or rocket launcher

end of the day be it a kid or a women with a ak47 aiming at your head
it makes you wonder who would pull the trigger
i sure would and not think twice about doing this.

FFS if the guy is injured he's no threat - surely shooting him rolling around the floor in agony is murder not war?
    IT people slash forward.

Also, lack of planning on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part....

I'd rather my taxes went on one bullet, than a lifetime of medical care for a terrorist.

eye for a eye someone who is willing to kill a army person should be shot dead
does not matter if its a women or child with a ak47
this was a set up nothing more
those people got what they deserve if they where real un armed soldiers why are
    the not together.

army comes by guys ambush them and kill them
