    Default House of 1000 Corpses

Christ, dunno what to make of this movie. Let's put it like this, if you like movies that include senseless killing (fukin lots of em), plenty of blood and weird cut scenes (reminded me a bit of Natural Born Killers) then you will think this movie is shithot.

The story, well if you can call it that, sees 4 teenagers on their way home on the night before haloween, stop at a roadside attraction (Some fukin ghost train type thingy), and are told by the owner of the story of Dr Satan and the place where he was hung, the kids ask directions to Dead Wood, where Dr Satan was hung and thats when all the fun and games begin, although the opening action scene at the roadside attraction gets the ball rolling I guess in the first 5 minutes, you'll see what I mean.

Although I ain't usually a big horror flick fan I really enjoyed this basically because it was so f**ked up and the action hardly stops. Take yer missus or GF to see this one, she'll love it

    How mad was this film??

I was expecting something along the lines of Braindead but this was well strange - it's going to be one of those cult films in a few years I reckon.

Funny seeing everyone just get slaughtered though

just got around to watching this - total SH1TE

it is one screwed up film. It hated it. It was truely crap - as a horror film it was pants, just a little predictable.

I'd agree with aido - its going to be one of those "cult" films - where cult is used a nice polite way of saying crap!

this film was amazing imo, had everythin, shock/horror/gore/tension, best of all it didnt over step the mark on realism, from start to end i was glued to the screen it wasnt untill the credits came on i realised i just watched a movie, last film that done that to me was bad boys

    Definately set for cult status.

Thought it was great. Lots of mindless violence, horror and gore. Just my cup of tea.

    Nice one Rob Zombie!

It's a great film and one of the best opening scenes I have ever witnessed. The story did go completely off the rail's towards the end though.

    8/10.

    Sure,

The movie was tasty in terms of its violence levels, but was there a real plot to it? Was there anything to stop you not watching it?

In my opinion, it was quite boring in terms of depth (im a movie buff, a deep film for me is the best thing since sliced bread)

I give it 2/10 - those two points are for the gore and killing it entails

Watched it again yesterday as it is fantastic. I hope Rob Zombie makes further ventures in film land...
