Doom 3 XBOX [INFO]

Hey you lot,

it is saying that doom3 on xbox will launch simultaneously (or near enough), will have xbox LIVE, will look as good as the pc version and it already has a solid framerate... but i bet its 30 fps

I hope the gaming experience on the xbox will be just as good as with HALO. Aiming might be a little more difficult since you don't have a hit box any more but can damage any part of an enemies' body. I bet they'll have some kind of auto aiming that'll make it a bit easier.

And as for the framerate: as long as it's a constant 30fps I have no problem...

yeah auto aiming will be needed as its supposed to be pixel aiming, meaning little enemies would be sooo hard to hit for us pad men

although i do like playin FPS games on the xbox, this is deffo one for the pc for me gonna have to buy the original of this one aswell to play online, tho ill get the xbox one aswell.

Too right, FPS's games are always fun as mulitplayer game on Xbox but for a single player expericence is PC all the way - Auto Aiming for gods sake!!!!

NOTE - Halo and other FPS games that are on Console before PC always seem worst on PC but thats due to the way there written.

you aint wrong there, even on my pc with a gig of ram 3200+ XP cpu and 128meg geoforce 4 ti4200 it played shite, i was totally shocked at how shite it was actually

I'm looking forward to it! Lets hope for a good xbox version of Doom! I remember when Quake areana came out for the Dreamcast... I thought that was going to be shite... but it turned out to be quite good fun after all.

As long as the frame rate is better than Unreal 2 I'll be happy! Playing Unreal 2 I didn't know whether I was shooting at the enemy or a rock because they were jumping around so much - but as fe_man said to me today - the xbox's biggest failure in FPS games is that the processor isn't fast enough to deal with the AI they try to put into games these days as well as ragdoll physics etc.

XBox 2 WHERE ARE YOU????
